It’s almost time to file a tax return, or an extension (Newsday)
Since January, the Internal Revenue Service has been imploring cash-strapped, recession-weary taxpayers to call the agency and make a deal. As Wednesday’s filing deadline nears, the agency’s phones may soon be ringing off the hook.
